Take a look at this website. It should tell you adjectives you'd like to know. :)
Bisabolol, or more formally α-(-)-bisabolol or also agreed as levomenol, is a natural monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol. It is a colorless viscous grease that is the primary constituent of the essential grease from German chamomile (Matricaria recutita). It is almost insoluble in river and glycerin, but well soluble contained by ethanol. The enantiomer, α-(+)-bisabolol, is also found naturally but is intermittent. Synthetic bisabolol is usually a racemic mixture of the two, α-(±)-bisabolol.
Bisabolol has a bland sweet floral aroma and is used in a variety of fragrances. It has also be used for hundreds of years in cosmetics because of its perceived skin salutary properties. Bisabolol is known to hold anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
A structurally related compound known as β-bisabolol (CAS# [15352-77-9]) differs solely in the position of the tertiary alcohol functional group.
